ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.270 of 2022 pending on the file of the third respondent to some other agencies other than the third respondent and to file a final report within a time frame.
2.In pursuance of directions of this Court, Mr.R.Balasundaram, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Oomachikulam is present before this Court.
3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the Deputy Superintendent of Police has jointed duty only 10 days back.
4.It is seen from the records that though this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.5392 of 2023 directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of three months, they have not chosen to file the final report till now. 2/4
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the order of this Court has not been complied with, the petitioner was constrained to file the present petition seeking transfer of the investigation.
6.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the final report is made ready and seeks two weeks time to file the same before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
7.Recording the same, the third respondent is directed to file the final report, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
