Respondent PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to make Sub Division in Survey No.377/5 and issue separate patta in the petitioner's name to an extent of 0.72 cents situated at Rachandar Thirumalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District based on the petitioner's online Application Nos.20230601001602 dated 01.06.2023 and 20230711007840 dated 11.07.2023.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's online Application Nos. 20230601001602 dated 01.06.2023 and 20230711007840 dated 11.07.2023 for issuance of separate patta within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representations through online Application Nos. 20230601001602 dated 01.06.2023 and 20230711007840 dated 11.07.2023 to the respondent for issuance of separate patta. Since the said representations are pending, the petitioner has come before this Court. He would further submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representations of the petitioner and other appropriate documents will be considered in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner made through online Application Nos.20230601001602 dated 01.06.2023 and 20230711007840 dated 11.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
