ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.) for the first respondent. Issuance of notice to R2 and R3 is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner's mother lodged a complaint before the Maruvoor Police Station leading to registration of Crime No.24 of 2017 against R2 and R3 herein. The petitioner was the victim. The petitioner also filed a private complaint before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru. The learned trial Magistrate invoking Section 210 of Cr.P.C., called for report from the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that this direction given by the jurisdictional Magistrate has not been adhered to. Therefore, this criminal original petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.) submitted that final report was already filed and cognizance of the offences was also taken. The case is presently pending at the stage of serving summons on the accused. The case has been taken on file as C.C.No.14 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
