2024 in Crl.A(MD) No.677/2023 order dated 01.07.2025 by directing the Appellant to appear before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Nagercoil.
ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble A.d.jagadish Chandira J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent. 2.This Court, on 01.07.2025, while suspending the sentence passed the following order:
"8(iii)The petitioner shall stay at Chennai and report before the Inspector of Police, Flower Bazaar Police Station, New Broadway Bus Stop, Chennai, daily at 10.30 am., until further order." 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a resident of Kanyakumari District and in compliance of this Court order dated 01.07.2025, he is residing at Chennai and appear before the Flower Bazaar Police Station, New Broadway Bus Stop, Chennai, daily at 10.30 am., until further order. He is financially unstable to stay at Chennai and he has no source to manage day to day affairs. Hence, he prays to modify the condition. 2/4
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, the condition imposed by this Court on 01.07.2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall stay at Madurai and report before the Inspector of Police, Othakadi Police Station, Madurai, daily at 10.30 am., until further orders. It is made clear that the petitioner shall not enter into jurisdictional limit of the respondent police. The other conditions imposed by this Court if any shall remain unaltered.
