O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.84 of 2023 registered against the petitioner and other accused for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC as expeditiously as possible.

2. It is submitted by the petitioner/accused No.3 that though the respondent Police have registered a case against him, still the investigation is pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions to complete the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents Police on the other hand submits that there are about six cases pending against him and he is involved in issuing the fake stamp papers. It is alleged that he has cheated about two Crores. It is submitted that the investigation is going on and the respondent Police would complete the investigation within a reasonable time. 2/4

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate criminal side appearing for the respondent Police, the respondent Police are directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
