For Petitioner : Mr.P.Sivachandran For Respondent : Mr.S.Ravi Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor / Respondent for willful disobedience in non compliance of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.15260 of 2021, dated 06.10.2021. 1/4

2.By the above said order, the respondent was directed to complete the process of investigation and file a final report, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of that order. The respondent police is present before this Court today and submitted that the complaint has been closed as undetected on 26.09.2022 and would submit that notice was also served upon the petitioner. But the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has not received the notice so far. Now he can receive the copy from the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. However, the respondent police cannot close such petition as undetected and must keep the matter pending. However, the respondent police is ready to reopen the case if any clue is available.
