O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1026 of 2020 registered against the accused for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC as expeditiously as possible.
2. It is submitted by the petitioner/defacto complainant that though the respondent Police have registered a case against the accused in the year 2020, still the investigation is pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions to complete the investigation.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents Police on the other hand submits that the investigation is going on and the respondent Police would complete the investigation within a reasonable time.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate criminal side appearing for the respondent Police, the respondent Police 2/4
are directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
