O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.140 of 2017, which is registered against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(i) IPC, Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the police are in the process of completion of the investigation and almost the witnesses have been examined and within short time, they will complete the investigation and file the charge sheet. The same is recorded.

3.Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet in Crime No.140 of 2017 2/4

as quickly as possible, not later than a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
