PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.249/2023 dt.08/08/2023 pending on the file of R1 and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.249 of 2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No. 249 of 2023 under woman missing caption.

3.Since it is a matrimonial issue, let the petitioner appear before the respondent police and give statement, So that the FIR may be closed. There is no question of quashment of FIR.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
