PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.373 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 02.12.2021 and the requisition letter of the Additional District Judge (FAC), Kuzhithurai, vide letter in D.No. 46/2022, dated 10/02/2022 and the court made the following order:

This Court, vide order dated 02.12.2021, has dismissed the bail application and directed the learned Additional District Judge (FAC), Kuzhithurai to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2.The learned Additional District Judge has submitted a requisition dated 10.02.2022, seeking four months further time to dispose of the case. In the requisition, the learned Additional District Judge has stated that due to Covid-19 restrictions, she could not complete the trial within the time stipulated by this Court.
