ORDER
The petitioner seeks to punish the respondents for alleged willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 18.11.2024 in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.19876 of 2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents have violated the following directions in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.19876 of 2024: "4. However, the petitioner is now with the electronic evidence and pictures recording all the incident, wherein all the accused persons were present together which has been capture in the mobile phone. The petitioner is directed to submit the mobile phone with the pictures, so that the same can be considered. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and furnish the details. Thereafter, the respondent police is directed to verify the same and conduct the investigation in Crime No.309 of 2024."

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation is pending and that it is now conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Alangulam Sub Division since there is a specific direction by this Court. He would further submit that the evidence offered by the petitioner would be taken into consideration at the 2/5
time of filing of the final report and that the final report would be filed within a period of one month.

It is needless to say that this Court had only directed the petitioner to appear before the respondents and directed the respondents to conduct the investigation, which is now being conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Alangulam. Therefore, this Court is of the view that there is no contempt. Hence, this Contempt Petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Alangulam Sub Division to conclude the investigation in Crime No.309 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 30.10.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Lm 3/5
