ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for directing the respondent police to grant him protection based on his complaint dated 09.11.2021.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has already filed I.A.No.1 of 2020 in O.S.No.63 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Theni, seeking temporary injunction. If the said I.A is allowed, certainly, the respondent police can be directed to grant protection on that basis. It appears that as on date, the petitioner has not obtained any interim order in his favour. The learned District Munsif Court, Theni is directed to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2020 in O.S.No.63 of 2020 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks. It is open to the petitioner to move this Court again based on the outcome of the said I.A.

3. With this direction to the jurisdictional civil Court, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
