PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to remove the present panchayat president of the 4th respondent panchayat by following due process Under Section 205(1) (a) of Tamilnadu Panchayat Act, 1994, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 30.05.2023, within the period stipulated by this Court.

The writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to remove the present panchayat president of the 4th respondent panchayat by following due process Under Section 205(1) (a) of Tamilnadu Panchayat Act, 1994, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 30.05.2023, within the period stipulated by this Court.

When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that pursuant representation and upon enquiry, action has been taken against the Panchayat President and he has already been removed. Hence, the prayer that has been sought for has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
