ORDER
The petitioner asserts that the land measuring 6 acres and 83 cents in old S.No.505 and new S.No.276/3 in Puliyankulam Village, Kovilpatti Taluk was allotted to his father Appasamy. He further states that patta No.96 was issued during the UDR. Upon the death of his father, the petitioner states that he and his siblings inherited the property. On 11.11.2011, by obtaining a computer copy of the Patta, the petitioner realised that the name of the Tamil Nadu Bhoomi Dhanam Board was included in the patta. In those circumstances, O.S.No.199 of 2012 was filed before the District Munsif Court, Kovilpatti. In the said suit, it is stated that the petitioner obtained the relief of declaration and permanent injunction against the Bhoomi Dhanam Board. After submitting a representation dated 16.06.
2025, on that basis, the present petition has been filed. 2.Learned Government Advocate, who appears on behalf of all the respondents, submits that it has been decided to file an appeal against the Judgment and Decree in O.S.No.199 of 2012. Without prejudice, he states that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3.Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2025 on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other person concerned. No costs.
