O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus to the respondents Police to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on account of intercaste marriage of one of the family members of the petitioner, the other members of the community have excommunicated the family of the petitioner and thereby, a case and counter case have been filed. It is also submitted that when the petitioner's father-in-law died, none of the members of the community have come there and helped them and with six women family members, the funerals have been completed. It is also submitted that the petitioner has filed a writ petition in W.P(MD).No.10401 of 2023 and the unofficial respondents have been harassing the petitioner to withdraw the said writ petition, on which, a detailed complaint was filed before the District Collector and also before 2/5

the Superintendent of Police and they were forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer. The Revenue Divisional Officer in turn has forwarded the same to the Tahsildar and the complaint filed before the Superintendent of Police was forwarded to the respondents Police, but no action has been taken so far, and thereby, sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the respondents Police will complete the investigation and will undertake detailed enquiry in respect of representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2023 and 29.05.2023.

4. In view of the above, the respondents Police are ordered to take stern action in case if the allegations are found to be correct and complete the investigation as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of the investigation, he is at liberty to approach this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
