The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey the property situate in S.No.230/15 in Chellapaenthal village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Mrs.K.Malathi learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (crl.Side) takes notice for the third respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property is his ancestral property and patta for the same stands in his name in patta No.507. He submitted an application before the respondents on 11.06.2025 seeking survey of the subject property and the same was surveyed on 28.06.2025. Not satisfied with the survey, the petitioner submitted another application on 01.08.2025 seeking re-survey of the subject property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that as per the application of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2025, survey was conducted on 28.06.2025. As far as the application allegedly submitted by the petitioner on 01.08.2025 is concerned, the petitioner has not produced acknowledgment for having submitted an online application. Therefore, the same has not been considered.

5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit the acknowledgment for having submitted online application before the first respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a 3/5

copy of this order. On production of acknowledment, the first respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner seeking re-survey of the property and pass final orders, on its own merits within the further period of eight weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighboring land owners and other interested parties.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
