ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent to examine the representation of the petitioner herein as directed by the first respondent with respect to grant of patta for the house site land measuring 20 cents in Survey No.172/4, Ochathevankottai, M.Karisalkulam Village Group, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner had given an application on 26.06.2021.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the aforesaid properties originally belong to the father-in-law of the petitioner herein and thereafter, the said properties devolved to his wife, who unfortunately died. The petitioner has enclosed the legal heirship certificate showing the petitioner as one of the legal heirs. There is also a young child aged 15 years. 3. Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for all the respondents.

A Mandamus is directed to the second respondent/the Tahsildar, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District to examine the representation, examine whether necessary charges have been paid and thereafter, issue notice to any other contesting parties, examine the title deed of the petitioner, examine the legal heirship certificate, examine other revenue records and if every document is in order, proceed to issue patta in favour of the petitioner herein. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
