ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the 1/3

respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa), 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 and 468, 471, 420 IPC r/w. 5, 6 , 8 of Tamil Nadu Rectified Spirit Rules, 2000 in Cr.No.212 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. Considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner that the petitioner aided the other accused in preparing huge quantity of spurious liquor by forging false seals on the cap of the liquor bottles, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
