ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Cr.No.30 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. This petition is for anticipatory bail. It is stated that in this case there was an Non bailable warrant pending against the petitioner. The petitioner surrendered before the trial court with the recall application. The trial court was pleased to recall it on 27/03/2024, when the hearing date was on the next day, i.e., on 24/7/2024, the petitioner states that it has been wrongly informed that it was only on 24/8/2024. Therefore, the petitioner did not report before the court on the next day. If that be the case, the petitioner cannot come up with this prayer for anticipatory bail. The petitioner shall again surrender before the trial court and file an application to recall the warrant and if such application is filed, the trial Court is requested to consider the same on the same day.
