PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent Joint Director of Collegiate Education to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Commerce w.e.f. the date of her actual appointment viz., 03.10.2012 in the 3rd respondent College namely, Nazareth Margoschis College, Nazareth, Thoothukudi and disburse grant-in-aid towards her salary with all other attendant benefits.

A counter dated 13.12.2021 is filed by 2nd respondent on behalf of the Director of Collegiate Education, wherein at para 12, they state that appropriate orders are in the process of being passed, in terms of Rule 11(1) of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Rules, 1976.

2.In effect, I am given to understand by Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader that authorities are in the process of passing an order approving the appointment of the petitioner with effect from 03.10.2012, when she assumed charge for the post of Assistant Professor (Commerce) in R3 College. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
