ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first Respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.09.2020 within a specified time frame fixed by this Court. 2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.Heard, Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Ramaiah, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials on record. 4.(i).The petitioner was lastly served as Senior Assistant in the Legal Section of Tamil Nadu Government State Transport Corporation, Kumbakonam and after attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.01.2014. However, he was not sanction with pension till date. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation before the first respondent on 08.09.2020 and a reminder representation on 18.04.2023, seeking to disburse 2/4
his terminal benefits. Since the same were not considered, this writ petition came to be filed.
5.Without going into merits of the case, this Court inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, on 18.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, to disburse the terminal benefits of the petitioner, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
