ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2025 for restoration of Patta No.54 in his name in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.26/6A1, measuring an extent of 16 cents, situated at Pathinettangudi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.E.Mohammed Abbas, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property from one Kalaimani under a registered sale deed dated 20.11.2009. The patta for the subject property was issued in the name of the petitioner and his vendor in Patta No.54. Recently, when the petitioner verified the online digital records, the subject property was shown as Government land in the digital revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 04.07.2025 seeking correction of the digital records and restoration of Patta No.54 in his name in the digital revenue records. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. It is seen from the typed set of papers that a copy of the representation submitted before the second respondent was also submitted before the first respondent by registered post.
6. In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
