ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta in his name in respect of his property situated in Old Survey No. 44/8, New Survey No.269/31, Palayanoor Village, Thiruppuvangam Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by his father, Thadiyan, under a registered sale deed dated 10.07.1974. After death of his father, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment enjoyment subject property. He submitted a representation on 21.07.2025, seeking issuance of patta and the same has not been

considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

A perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner would indicate that the petitioner's father purchased 1 1⁄2 cents of land in Old Survey No. 44/8, with specified boundaries and linear measurements. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.07.2025, in the light of the sale deed produced by him and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
