O R D E R

The petitioner with an allegation that he has been excommunicated and prevented from entering into Thooya Panimaya Madha Annai Alayam, has filed this petition, seeking a direction to the official respondents to take action as against the private respondents herein.

2.Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 4 to 6 submits that this petitioner belong to RC Church, however, he married a woman belonging to Southern District South India Assemblies of God (SDIAG) and therefore, they have not permitted this petitioner to get baptism for his child in RC Church. He further submits that the petitioner can very well get baptism 3/7

from the concerned church, where the petitioner got married. There is no ex-communication as projected by the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also made it clear that insofar as permitting the petitioner to offer his prayers in R.C. Church, it is reported by the official respondents as well as by the private respondents that there is no restriction and this petitioner can visit the R.C.Church at anytime to offer his prayers. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that there is no practice of ex-communication as projected by the petitioner and the Church authorities are following up the procedure in vogue and also considering that they have not restricted this petitioner from offering prayers in RC Church, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
