ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to the second respondent to provide educational loan application form to the petitioner and further direct the respondents to sanction the educational loan of Rs.3,28,000/- for his daughter Kavyalakshmi for her B.Sc., (Hotel Mangement & Catering Science) Course of 3 years at Annai Fathima College of Management and Science" at Thirumangalam, Madurai District. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 12.03.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' on 15.03.2024 and on that date it was not listed. Even today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. It is reported that the learned counsel, who filed this case, is no more.
3.Since this writ petition is pending from the year 2018, this Court proceeded to dispose of this writ petition based on the available materials. Perusal of the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition shows that this writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking educational loan for his daughter for 2/4
pursuing the course of B.Sc., (Hotel Management & Catering Science). The course is only three years course. The said three years course itself would be completed by this time. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner would become infructuous by passage of time.
