The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 5 to take necessary action against the 6th and 7th respondents and their men and to stop the illegal stone quarry operation in Guganparai Village, Vempagottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District. 2.

Learned counsel on either side submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition and the matter has become infructuous, since the lease period itself is over. 2/4

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
