ORDER

Heard Ms.K.R.Shivashankari, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.G.Sarath Kumar, learned counsel representing for Mr.A.Devarajan, learned Central Government Solicitor General for the Respondent.

This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2025.

Ms.K.R.Shivashankari, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the Petitioner has submitted representation dated 08.07.2025 in respect of her grievances and claim before the Respondent. The copy of the representation dated 08.07.2025 given to the Respondent is found at Page Nos.10 & 11 of the paper book. He further prays this Court that a positive direction may be given to the Respondent to decide the representation of the Petitioner dated 08.07.2025 on merits 2/6

and in accordance with law.

Mr.G.Sarath Kumar, learned counsel representing for Mr.A.Devarajan, learned Central Government Solicitor General for the Respondent submits that since the Petitioner has submitted a representation on 08.07.2025 to the Respondent, this Court may issue a positive direction to the Respondent to consider and decide the representation dated 08.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a specified time frame fixed by this Court. 5.

After considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel representing for the learned Central Government Solicitor General for the Respondent and perusing the records and averments made in the Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate that no useful purpose will be served in keeping this Writ Petition pending before this Court. 6.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the Petitioner to serve a certified copy of this order along with 3/6

the representation dated 08.07.2025 before the respondent within a period of two weeks from today. If any such representation is filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent, as per the time stipulated by this Court, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order on merits and in accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to the Petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. The Respondent shall communicate the order/decision to the Petitioner through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due (RPAD) within a period of two weeks from the date of passing the order/decision. 7.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is finally disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
