ORDER
This petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 01.10.2021 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors, reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner has been forwarded to the District Collector, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.21440 of 2021 Dindigul District. Only based upon the communication from the concerned District Collector further action can be taken.
3. Hence, the petitioner may wait for reasonable time for the process to be completed. If even after waiting for reasonble time, if no action is taken by the respondents, he can work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings. It is seen that no time is prescribed for completing the enquiry and file a report before the respondents. So, as mentioned above, the petitioner can wait for reasonable time. Depending upon the above said report further action can be taken.
4. With the above liberty, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
