This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to provide police protection to conduct Thirttham Alaitthal and Pongal Pananai Alaitthal and Annadhanam from 27.08.2023 to 29.08.2023 in pursuant to 50 year Aadi Kodaivizha festival in Sri Gundamagodangi Nayakkar Kudipadu Temple, situated at Semmannampatti Village, Komberipatti Post, Vedachandur Taluk,

2. It is fairly submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the respondents Police have given permission to conduct festival from 27.08.2023 to 29.08.2023 and the petitioner is also seeking for sufficient police protection so that untoward incident will not take place.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police, while reporting that the permission has already been granted, submits that the sufficient police protection will be given.

4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to provide sufficient police protection. There shall be no order as to costs.
