ORDER

The petitioner / A1 has filed this petition seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, registered for the offence under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submits that the investigation in Crime No.4 of 2025 has already been completed, however, the final report is yet to be filed for want of approval of the Vigilance Commissioner. According to him, there are enough materials as against this petitioner and therefore, the final report has been proposed to be filed as against this petitioner.

3. This petition is filed to quash the First Information Report. Now the investigation agency claims that investigation is completed and final report is to be filed against this petitioner based on the approval of the Vigilance Commissioner. In the event, if final report is filed against this petitioner, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the final report, based on the materials, in the manner known to law.
