O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to file charge sheet/final report within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the defacto complainant in respect of Medical negligence alleged to have been committed on 15.03.2008, no case was registered and subsequently, only after the intervention of this Court, FIR was registered on 16.02.2022 and in spite of registration of the FIR, there was no substantial progress in the investigation, therefore, sought for suitable direction.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the investigation of the FIR, the police have examined three witnesses and investigation is in progress and the police requested three months time to complete the investigation and file the final report. 2/4

Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and on perusal of the records, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation as quickly as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
