PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2999/2010/A2, dated 23.09.2019 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents herein to appoint the petitioner as Nathaswaram ' either in any of the available vacancies in Tamil Nadu or by sanctioning the post of 'Nathaswaram' to the sub temples of 3rd respondent temple, based on the proposal sent by the 3rd respondent to 2nd respondent.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.2999/2010/A2, dated 23.09.2019 and direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Nathaswaram based on the proposal sent by the 3rd respondent to the 2nd respondent.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent sought a proposal to create a post of 'Nathaswaram' in the third respondent temple and the same is pending and he has produced the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.21489/2019 proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.63904/2019/N5, dated 29.10.2019.

3.Heard Mr.S.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.In view of the above proceedings of the second respondent, the third respondent is directed to send proposal within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such proposal, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
