ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 to 4 to provide police protection for the Petitioner's life and liberty from the fifth Respondent and his men in accordance with law. 2.When the case came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the Respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the Petitioner is the daughter of the fifth Respondent. The fifth Respondent had lodged the complaint with the fourth Respondent as his daughter/the Petitioner is missing. Therefore, the FIR was registered in Crime No.250 of 2022 under Section "woman missing". Subsequently, the Investigation Officer traced the Petitioner. When the Petitioner was brought to the fourth Respondent's Police Station, she had given an undertaking that she had completed her B.Sc., degree course and wanted to go for higher studies, whereas the fifth Respondent had forced her to get marry. 2/4
Therefore, she on her own interest had walked out from the house. In the same letter, she had sought her educational qualification certificates with the fifth Respondent. Based on the letter obtained from the Petitioner, the investigation had been closed as 'action dropped'. Subsequently, this Writ Petition had been filed.
3.Also, the Petitioner had approached the third Respondent and gave a complaint against the fifth Respondent, where on enquiry conducted by the third Respondent, she had given an undertaking in writing that she will seek her remedy by approaching the Civil Court.
4.Considering the submission of the learned Counsels on either side, this Writ Petition is dismissed, as nowhere in the petition the Petitioner states that the fifth Respondent is her father. No costs.
