ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the third respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 24.02.2025, collect fee and issue license for the white pigs farm.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the third respondent submits that the petitioner was given a licence way back in the year 2013 by the third respondent and thereafter, no application has been filed for the renewal of the licence.

4. It is submitted that in case the petitioner files a fresh application along with the supporting documents, the petitioner's request for issuance of the licence for running a pig farm will be considered and disposed of on merits by the third respondent under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat (Licensing of Pigs and Destruction of Licensing of Infected Pigs) Rules, 1996 within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of application.
