DECREE:- This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal having come up for final hearing on this day, upon perusing the grounds of Appeal, the order of the Tribunal and the material papers to the Appeal and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.PRABHAKARAN, Advocate for the Appellant and of Mr.N.

(1) That the award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal / Additional Sub Court, Tenkasi, dated 02.12.2016 made in MCOP No.289 of 2011, in be and hereby is reduced to Rs.10,92,800/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Ninety Two Thousand and Eight Hundred Only) from Rs.14,31,000/-;

(2) That the Appellant/Transport Corporation be and hereby is directed to deposit the modified amount, together with interest

at 7.5% p.a. from the date of claim petition till the date of deposit, less the amount already deposited , within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this judgment;

(3) That on such deposit being made, the claiments be and hereby are entitled to get equal share with accrued interest and costs without filling formal petition before the Tribunal; and
