The petitioner, with a grievance that the investigation in Crime No.77 of 2021 has not been completed by the respondent police 1/4
has approached this Court.
2.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the first respondent submits that the investigation in Crime No.77 of 2021 has already been completed and final report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Virudhunagar through e-filing on 12.05.2025.
3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Mere filing of final report is not sufficient and it is the responsibility of the respondent police to ensure that the final report is filed without any defects and it is taken on file by the concerned Court within a period of two weeks. It is also the responsibility of the concerned Courts to take the final reports on file, if it is filed in order without delay.
