ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to quash the impugned orders passed by the third respondent in Na.Mu.Na.No.18/2024 dated 29.08.2024 and Na.Mu.Na.19/2024, dated 30.08.2024 refusing permission to conduct public meeting and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct the public meeting in memory of Irumporai Gunasekaran on 25.09.2024 at 17.30 Hrs at meeting ground in Bungalowmedu of Theni.
2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that they have decided to conduct a public meeting in memory of 2/6
Irumporai Gunasekaran on 25.09.2024 at 17.30 Hrs at meeting ground in Bungalowmedu of Theni and hence, they sought permission by giving a representation dated 20.08.2024 before the third respondent, that the third respondent has passed the impugned order dated 29.08.2024 rejecting the permission and that therefore, the writ petitioner was constrained to approach this Court.
4.It is evident from the records that the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2024 was rejected by the third respondent vide order dated 29.08.2024. As rightly contended by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the reasons assigned are only formal in nature. 5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that they have been seeking permission to conduct the public meeting on 25.09.2024 during night hours and that they may be permitted to conduct the public meeting from 06.00 pm., to 09.00 pm.

6.Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the third respondent by incorporating the date and time and on receipt of such representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders, within a period of two days from the date of receipt of the such representation.
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
