O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 16.7.2025 and cancel the patta wrongly transferred in favour of respondents 4 to 7 in Patta No.1813, in respect of the the property in S.No.184/1, Gudalur Ki-2 Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District and issue patta in the name of the Petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.M.Gangadharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage 2/6

itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property was purchased by his father Rasappan from one Nallammal under registered sale deed, dated 16.3.1999. After the death of the Petitioner's father and mother, there was a partition suit between the Petitioner and his sister Senthamarai in O.S.No.231 of 2022, on the file of the District Court, Karur. The said suit was compromised and the subject property was allotted to the Petitioner. When the Petitioner attempted to mutate the revenue records based on the Civil Court decree, it came to the knowledge of the Petitioner that the patta for the subject property stands in the name of private respondents. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted a representation on 16.7.2025 before the official respondents for cancellation of patta issued in the name of private respondents and for issuance of patta in his name. The said representation has not bee considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that representation of the Petitioner will be considered in accordance 3/6

with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 16.7.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
