PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram to expeditiously complete the trial in CC No.28 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram to expeditiously complete the trial in CC No.28 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that five witnesses have been examined in this case.

3. The second Respondent is directed to produce witnesses on the same day so that the learned Magistrate can record evidence .

4. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram is directed to proceed with the trial. Also the witnesses are to be examined promptly. He shall prevail upon the Counsel appearing for the accused and examine the witnesses on the same day. He/She shall follow the follow the guidelines of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case Vinod Kumar -vs- State of Punjab reported in 2015

(1) MLJ (Crl) 288 (SC) and dispose the case early. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
