PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent ie., the District Collector, Sivagangai District, Sivagangai to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2019 regarding illicit tree cutting and destroying of the channel proamboke by one encroacher Thiru. S.Arulsamy, which has been dealt with by the District Collector, Sivagangai in his L.Dis.B2/8125/2014, which is based on earlier representation of the petitioner dated 22.04.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a specific time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent has submitted a letter of the Tahsildar, Karaikudi, stating that encroachments were already removed in the subject land.
