O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.802 of 2023 and file a final report.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the Police have registered a case in Crime No.802 of 2023 on 13.07.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 407, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B IPC, basing on the directions of the learned Magistrate No.II, Madurai, on 18.09.2018. Since there is an inordinate delay from the commission of offence, directions are sought for to the respondents Police to complete the investigation as quickly as possible.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondents that the offence took place within the territorial jurisdiction of Thirupalai Police Station, Madurai City, Madurai and thereby, the respondent No.2 Police has requested the Superior Officer to transfer the investigation from his Police Station to Thirupalai Police Station and the orders are awaited. It is submitted that once the investigation is transferred to the Police of the concerned territorial jurisdiction, they would start the investigation. 2/4

4. Considering the submission made by both sides, the respondents Police are directed to complete the investigation as quickly as possible after the investigation is transferred to the Other Police Station without any delay.
