ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Superintendent of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus to revise his payscale as per G.O.Ms.No.146, Transport(C) department, dated 30.11.2015, based upon his representation.

2.The Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.146, Transport(C) department, dated 30.11.2015, wherein the scale of pay for the Superintendent of the State Transport undertakings were revised on par with 6th pay commission. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent herein on 19.02.2020 followed by reminder letters on 21.01.2022 and 28.01.2022. Even though, the said representation have been received by the authorities concerned, they have not passed any orders so far. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner in the light of G.O.Ms.No. 146, Transport(C) department, dated 30.11.2015 and confer the eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
