ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.04.2023 and 29.05.2023 and to issue the Non Traceable Certificate in respect of the registered settlement deed dated 01.05.1979 bearing Doc.No.775/1979 on the file of Sub Registrar, Aranthangi. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that though the petitioner's earlier application was registered as CSR.No.578 of 2022, in spite of submitting all the relevant documents required, the non traceable certificate is not provided to him, thereby sought for suitable directions. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted further that the respondent police are insisting the petitioner to provide the CCTV camera.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that in addition to the documents filed by the petitioner, some other documents are required to be filed as per the circular issued by the office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022 and once 2/5

the documents are submitted, the police will process the representation and would give the Non Traceable Certificate as sought for by the petitioner. He has denied that the police never demanded the the CCTV camera and submitted that even without CCTV camera, if further documents are given, the police will provide the certificate.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and on perusal of the records, the petitioner is directed to submit all the required documents as per the circular issued by the office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022 and on submission of all the documents, the police are directed to provide the certificate as required by the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 5.With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of.
