ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 16.06.2025. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that she was illegally arrested and attacked by the officials of the Thisayanvillai Police Station; that she had lodged a complaint to the respondents for taking appropriate action; that the respondents have so far not taken any action. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry is pending and the same would be concluded within a period of two weeks.

4.In view of the aforesaid submission, the respondents shall conduct an enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner and conclude the 2/4

same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. If the petitioner is required for the enquiry, the respondents may issue summons for her appearance.

5.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
