ORDER

The petitioner claims himself to be the owner of the building at Palayamkottai. According to him, he is regularly paying property tax and water tax to the building. It is the petitioner's grievance that even though he continues to be the owner, pursuant to a forgery sale deed registered as Document No.4088/1997, dated 10.12.1997, the third respondent is attempting to transfer the assessment in her favour. Aggrieved over the same, he made a representation dated 26.08.2019 to the first respondent and the same is pending. Since the representation is not disposed of, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard Mr.V.Malaiyendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the first and second respondents.

Considering the limited prayer that the petitioner's representation should be disposed of, a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing both sides, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
