This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to petitioner's son namely A.D.Arun, S/o.Ayyadurai (P.I.D.No.76890) confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, by considering the representation dated 16.06.2025.

2.Heard Mr.C.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
