PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to run his business peacefully at Door No.43/3, Railway Station Road, Manaparai Town in Trichy District until the civil dispute in O.S.No.1130 of 2018 pending on the file of the I Additional Sub Court, Trichy and O.S.No.203 of 2019 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Manaparai.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to run his business peacefully at Door No.43/3, Railway Station Road, Manaparai Town in Trichy District until the civil dispute in O.S.No.1130 of 2018 pending on the file of the I Additional Sub Court, Trichy and O.S.No.203 of 2019 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Manaparai.
2. It is seen that the petitioner is a tenant under the fifth and sixth respondent. The petitioner also filed a suit in O.S.No.203 of 2019 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Manaparai. The respondents 5 and 6 and their family members have also filed a suit for partition in O.SNo.1130 of 2018 in which also the petitioner is a party.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the third respondent closed the complaint as civil in nature. 4.At this stage, police protection cannot be provided to the petitioner. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is directed to approach the civil court in the manner known to law.
