Prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to enrol the petitioner as an Advocate within the stipulated time. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that a criminal case is pending against the petitioner in S.C.No.669 of 2015 on the file of the Mahila Sessions Court, Tirunelveli.

3.In the light of the Full Bench decision of this Court in the Chairman, Bar Council of India, New Delhi Vs. S.M.Anantha Murugan reported in 2017-4-L.W 549, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he is acquitted in the criminal case. No costs.
