This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders to disburse the compensation in respect of the property comprised in 418/1A of Kunnathur Village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District based on my representation dated 07.07.2025 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents seeking compensation for the land that has been acquired. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondent, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the 2nd respondent within a period of sixteen weeks. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025, by conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
