ORDER

The petitioner is a Conductor working in the respondents Corporation. With a grievance that he was not provided with duty, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a mandamus to reinstate him. 2.Learned Counsel for the respondents Corporation submitted that the petitioner was terminated, however, the request for approval was rejected by the Joint Commissioner of Labour. 3.Considering the rival submissions made on either side, this Court suggested the parties to arrive at an amicable settlement. It appears that on the best efforts taken by the learned Counsel on either side, the matter has been amicably settled and a joint compromise memo dated 27.09.2024 has also been filed.

4.Since it is reported that the matter has been amicably settled among the parties, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required to be passed. There shall be no order as to costs.
